Welcome to Art of Stone!

‘Art of Stone’ is an expression of the deep love and appreciation I have for my Lake Huron hometown area, and of the natural world more broadly. Each handmade piece is one-of-a-kind, crafted of stones I find along the lakeshore. My collection includes necklaces, bracelets, keychains, buttons, magnets, and more, as well as original photography cards.

About me:

I’ve been collecting stones from my hometown near Lake Huron in Ontario since I was a little girl. And I’ve been wearing handmade stone necklaces for years, inspired by my friend Joan who asked me to make her a necklace using a stone from her beloved cottage. Wearing one brings me a great sense of home, and of calm and grounding as I feel the weight of the stone – the earth itself – at my chest.  I hope it does same for you ~ Kelly
